Welcome!

Welcome to my corner of the captioning world. When I started this back in 2008 there weren't too many caption artists around, now there are thousands! The rise of blog templates and other simple software, it's very easy to make a good looking caption. In the beginning I was using MS Paint, a low-end program that was so rigid to use that making any kind of correction was like moving a mountain. Because of this, it took countless hours trying to make something perfect, but it was always worth it when you were finally done. Now that I'm use Comic Life, I can crank out something in about 15 minutes, that's including the story, picture editing, and making it look pretty all around. Drop me a line if you want to know more about the how to. It's really idiot simple.  Much, much easier than ever to be creative without needing to know how to operate powerful programs like photoshop or paintshop.

I specialize in simple stories of revenge and karma getting balanced. They weren't the most popular of caption topics when I started out, but I feel as though it's grown with time. Naturally I dabble in all sorts of reasons for transformation and transformation vectors, variety is the spice of life and all that, so I feel like I have a well rounded body of caption work. I'm always happy when I look back over all my stuff. The combination of different elements to capture that perfect moment that always makes a caption pop is what we all strive for. Some would call it an addition.

If you're interested in trading caps or have an idea you'd like to see come to life, be in touch. I'm slowly getting back into making captions due to the amount of downtime I'm forced to endure. My main focus is to get all my stuff posted so that it can be enjoyed, but it's hard not to be creative at the same time. I started at Rachel's Haven, a wonderful community of caption artists back in the day, but time has taken its toll and the site has become a shadow of what it used to be, so I'm hoping blogger will suffice.

Thanks for checking out my blog. Don't be a stranger.

    1. Thanks for the kind words Alita! Inspiration is special, much better than motivations since your heart is into it. Im a lot slow on replies as I was having some technical difficulties with the blogger platform. I couldn't get the comments to work at the time, but I saw you work and loved it! Keep them coming!

  2. Hi, Brenda! Let me just say that I love your creations, and I have added you to my "Friends and Inspirations" side-bar on my own blog site. I hope that this kind of cross-fertilization may help you get more visitors! Maybe you can add a "Blogs I Follow" or something like that on your blog as a side gadget. Just a small suggestion, and I hope that you have a brilliant day (and a dark and creative night! :).
